For anyone who appreciates Celtic music no matter what level of skill you have or even if you have no skill, Colin’s tutorials and workshops will have you fiddle playing in no time at all.
Colin teaches both the basics of Scottish fiddle and intermediate fiddle playing.
The basic tutorials cover correct bowing techniques, fingering and ornamentation.
The intermediate tutorials cover bowing techniques, fingering and ornamentation for Marches, Strathspeys and Slow Airs.
If you’ve always wanted to play the fiddle but never had the time or confidence to learn, you’ll find Colin’s tutorials easy, quick and fun.
Anyone can learn to play, from child beginner to retiree. Colin is available for group lessons (max no in group = 4).
Cost per group lesson is $100 per hour for dedicated and personal attention, with guidance that’s perfectly suited to your level of skill. As part of the lesson, MP3 recordings of tunes and practice points will be distributed afterwards .
