Roaming Free, the CD, a collection of Scottish fiddle tunes with fiddle and guitar was recorded in 2005. The CD has provided a lot of inspiration for audiences and players alike around Australia.

Over the last two to three years, Colin has been pondering the question of how the experience and inspiration which a musician obtains from a CD, especially Roaming Free, can be enhanced.

Musicians learn tunes in different ways, some by ear and some by reading sheet music.

This has led to the compilation of an electronic music book for the Roaming Free CD which details the following:-
-    History behind the tune
-    How Colin would play the tune ( including bowing and decoration)
-    The sheet music for the tune
-    Further resources for exploration

A second CD has also been created which contains individual fiddle tracks for each of the tunes on the CD.
